Cardin and Zest walked into town in their cloaks, hiding their appearance and identity. Cardin pointed at the pub on the corner of the street, pointing at the location where Madam was staying. They both then walked toward the pub cautiously since they knew Madam would notice their presence.
Zest was the one who opened the door and saw Madam drinking in the corner, hiding her presence in the shadow. He looked at Cardin and tilted his head toward Madam's table, signaling Cardin to approach her first. He was too scared to approach Madam since he had a bitter experience with her.
Cardin slowly pulled down the hood to reveal Madam his face and slowly lifted his hands to show that he didn't come to fight. Madam stared at him coldly and didn't react to his presence, but it only made him more nervous.
