บท 98: Looming Dangers

Wu Xie groaned dramatically, flopping onto his back. "What? How in the world am I going to manage all of this? I feel like I've been run over by a herd of elephants!"

With a hearty laugh, Master Fu patted Wu Xie on the shoulder. "Ah, the trials of the novice cultivator! Fear not, my young apprentice. cultivation wasn't built in a day, and neither will your cultivation skills."

As they trudged back towards the city, the world seemed to shimmer with a newfound magic, each step infused with the day's teachings. Wu Xie couldn't wait to collapse into bed and drift off into a deep, dreamless slumber.

However, his plans for a peaceful night were quickly thwarted when they arrived home. Wu Xie made a beeline for his bed, ready to surrender to the sweet embrace of sleep, only to have Master Fu swoop in like a whirlwind.

"Up, up, up!" Master Fu exclaimed, smacking Wu Xie lightly on the head. "No time for sleeping, my eager disciple. You have some reading to do."
