They no longer heard gunshots coming from the back of the kitchen, just an eerie silence.

Going down the corridor felt like Alice going down the rabbit hole.

With no electricity the elevators would not work.

So they had no choice but to take the long winding stairs down to the next level.

This was the refrigeration area aka the place where they stored the dead bodies.

Storing dead bodies near to the precious food that we eat everyday would make anybody's stomach turn except the flesh eating zombies.

The dead don't count, they don't get to have feelings and what makes it even worse they don't get to find peace.
