บท 42: Bloodlust filled the air

A tree shook violently.

Genesis's body had been flung against an old almond tree. 

There was a loud sound of wood being shattered.

Leaves fell all over the place creating a new green carpet of leaves.

She wanted to go by Genesis's side but if she was careless, she'd never make it.

Genesis wasn't the only one facing the risk of having his throat torn apart. 

For Charm being near so many shifter demons was torture,

They were all standing too close for comfort. 

Luckily Genesis got back on his feet. 

It felt as if everyone had been waiting with baited breath for the outcome.

To see if Genesis would get back on his own feet by himself.

It felt like the moment Genesis looked like he was out cold the other shifter demons would jump Charm.

Especially if she went to offer Genesis a helping hand.

She fingered the dagger in her pocket, she could feel her depleted spirit energy slowly returning.
