บท 282: The Black Star

Cassius stood over the trembling man, his icy blue eyes narrowing in disgust as he listened to the man fumble through his words.

The smell of gunpowder still lingering from the earlier fight. His fingers flexed around the grip of his gun, his patience wearing thin with every passing second.

"We are the Black Star! But you might already know that."

The leader named Larry stammered, his eyes darting nervously around the room, as if looking for some unseen escape. 

Sweat trickled down his temples, matting his brown hair to his forehead. The desperation in his gaze was unmistakable—he was terrified.

'Damn it,' Larry thought to himself, 'There must be a leak. Someone gave me up!'

As a leader, his location has always changed and never been in the same place for more than a week!

The movement was also a secret except for a few people who knew his schedule for the next stop.
