บท 251: Dark Smoke

"Ugh, your skill and warrior level are too low! You'll never destroy that barrier!" Farty yelled from below, keeping her distance from the monster.

"Damn it! I should've spent more time grinding and less time at that damn desk!" Lucien spat in frustration, veering away from the Sage.

But the Sage of Deprivation wasn't about to let him escape so easily. Its mouth opened, releasing a thick, dark smoke that began to creep toward him. As the smoke touched his armor, it started to corrode and melt away.

[Warning: Lumen's body is melting. Speed and attack boosts will be deactivated.]

[Notice: Lumen will consume an additional 500 Energy Essence to repair the damage.]

"What?! No way, I need to get out of here!" Lucien exclaimed, hastily flying away from the Sage. He swooped down, grabbing Farty, who had fainted from the noxious smoke.
