บท 243: Cassius Story: Unexpected Gift

"Huh! That dumbass lowborn and his wife must be having a great time tonight," Holt laughed, his piercing green eyes gazing out the window at the passing road.

He took out his phone, using the screen as a mirror to admire his handsome face. Disheveling his hair further, he shook his head with a sigh.

"Thought it would be boring without him around. No more toy to torment," he mused aloud.

He glanced at the driver in the front seat of the car. "Right, Jack?"

When the driver didn't respond, Holt's suspicion grew. He looked up at the rear-view mirror and realized, with widening eyes, that the driver was not Jack.

"Shit!" Holt cursed, his hand fumbling for his gun.

But it was too late; the driver had already abandoned the car, throwing himself out. Holt's panic surged as he heard a beeping sound from inside the vehicle.

A bomb.

"What the hell! That bastard! I'm going to kill him!" Holt screamed, his voice filled with rage and fear.
