บท 13: PWA 13 Shopping and Oak's Quest [Rewrite]
Let's review our expenditure today.
Aside from our change of clothes and adventuring gears which include tents, sleeping bags and portable cooking tools, currently now both me and Kotonoha already have food rations for both one human and one pokémon that is enough for 3 days and a single potion I take from my PC.
So we decided to do some shopping on our local PokeMart for more supplies for each of us:
Pokeballs x 10 = ₱ 2000 (and we both get a Premier Ball for free)
Potion x 3 = ₱ 900
Antidote x 3 = ₱ 300
Awakening x 1 = ₱ 200
Ice Heal x 1 = ₱ 250
Burn Heal x 1 = ₱ 250
Parlyz Heal x 1 = ₱ 250
So in total each of us has spent ₱ 4150 leaving me with only ₱ 1850 and Kotonoha with ₱ 850 on our trainer account.
After we are finished with our shopping, we are about to hit the road when my PokeGear suddenly rings.
Oh, a phone call. I wonder from who it is?
Currently now in our PokeGear, both Kotonoha and I have the number from Professor Oak and our family.
By the way, I exchanged my number with Kokoro who give me Katsura house phone number.
The little sister said that in case her sister can't be called, or if anything were to happen to her big sister, then she hope than I can make a call to their family.
Such a thoughtful little sister she is.
Well, that just how much Kotonoha is loved upon by her little sister Kokoro.
Ah, you are just so cute!
Big Brother will bought you a present from our next town later!
*Ding ling ling Ding ling ling Iwak Peyek Iwak Peyek~*
Oops, we have gotten sidetracked again, gotta answer the PokeGear call.
Oh, it is from Professor Oak.
*Thud*
"Oh, hello, Jovanna. Sorry to make an abrupt phone call. I want to ask if you have leave the town?"
"Hello too, Professor. No, we just get out from the Pokemart to stock on some supplies."
"Ah, good then. Can I asked you for a favor?"
"Sure, what it is, Professor?"
"Ah, here is the thing. There is an important package that I have expected to be arrived on the Jelly Bean Town next to this Town tomorrow afternoon. Can you meet with one of my aide in the Pokémon Center there to get the packet and deliver it to me as soon as possible?"
An important package? Could this be related to the Pokédex that I have yet to obtain until now?
I think I remember back in the game there is something similar to this too?
"Okay, Professor. No problem. So I just need to go there, get the packet and the bring it to in.... Maybe around 3 days later? I will do that."
"Yes, that is. Thank you, Jovanna."
"It's okay, Prof. See you later."
After the call ended, I took the PokeGear back in my pocket and found Kotonoha staring at me
"What? Is there something on my face?" I asked Kotonoha while blinking my eyes.
"Ah..... No..... It's just that you and Professor seems to be quite ....."
"Quite chummy? Yes. Well, after all me and his grandson have some sort of rivalry since we are kids."
"Oh....."
"Let's go, Kotonoha-chan. We already have our first goal for our adventure, now!"
Holding hands with Kotonoha, I led the girl to go out on our very first adventure.
On the Road, to the Next Town!

The road from Klepon Town to the next town which is named Jelly Bean Town is quite long.
Unlike in Pokémon games where we can go from one Town or City to another in just a matter of minutes, here in this PokeWack world it took at least one day to travel from the first town to the next one.
And aside from the tall grass, we can now encounter the Pokémon in the the open space like right now we are facing a Normal type Pokémon Rattata in the middle of the road.
Also, another difference from the game, we can let out our Pokémon everytime we wants.
I and Kotonoha both already let out our respective Pokémon from their Pokeball the moment we leave the Town's Gate.
"Let's go with the plan we have earlier, Kotonoha-chan!"
"Un *nod her head* Kasumi, use Leer!"
"Shion, Pound the rat!"
Yep, this is the plan I have devised to train Kotonoha's Ghost Water type Kasumi who only have Ghost type attacking move Lick and a Normal type debuff move Leer.
Since she can't attack Normal type enemy with her Ghost type attack, then I will just let her join the battle with my Pokémon with her role as a debuffer.
Yeah, since now we have in reality in PokeWack world, unlike in the games where we can only use one Pokémon if there is only a single enemy in front of us, now we can use as many as Pokémon we have to gang up on our enemies.
Just like now we have a 2 vs 1 battle between my Shion and Kotonoha's Kasumi against a single Rattata.
Kasumi' eyes glowed with uncanny lights, she leered upon her enemy that make the Rattata's body also glowed purple.
I guess that means the debuff is working and its defense are now lowered.
Suddenly Rattata's body make a blur as it moved quickly and it attacked Kasumi!
Huh? Is that quick attack? But shouldn't it make the rat moves first before Kasumi even debuffed it?
I guess this is also another difference between this real world and games.
Unlike in the Pokémon games where the battle took in a turn based format, here in the PokeWack World the battle is going on real time base.
