บท 49: New mermaid king coronation

"That's so cute of you, Erbienfeng." Naihua said Sitting above the cloud Erbienfeng.

"Naihua, you are making me blush," Erbienfeng said, feeling a warm flush on his cloud-like face. He turned in the air, soaring higher into the sky, carrying Naihua on his back towards the Shangtian Qianli palace.

Naihua felt the wind caressing her hair, as she looked down at the clouds below. She felt a surge of joy and freedom, after escaping from her imprisonment.

"Erbienfeng, how is Yun Ling doing?" she asked, remembering her friend.

"She is well, Naihua. I just dropped her off at the Coral Abyss (珊瑚深渊 - Shānhú Shēnyuān). She wanted to attend the coronation of the new king of the mermaid tribe. And on my way back to the palace, I saw you," Erbienfeng explained.

"New king? What do you mean? I was only gone for a day or two. How could things change so much in such a short time? And who is this new king of the mermaids?" Naihua asked, curious and confused.
