บท 665: The Voice of The Beast

"H-Hey! Is anyone there!? Come out where I can see you, you coward!"

One of the men shouted in fright as he looked around him, and the man suddenly froze like a deer in the middle of a busy street as he saw something huge lean out from the darkness at the end of the alleyway. It was tall, over three meters in height, and when it leaned over, the only thing that the man could make out was it's large red eyes staring at them with something like curiosity.

The creature growled somewhere deep in its throat, and all three men stumbled backward as one and fell to their asses as they felt true primal fear grip their hearts. There was something almost childlike about the way the creature looked at them. It made them feel like rats that had been cornered by a young cat that had never seen a rat in its life. The cat knew that it would eat them, but first, it wanted to know why the rats seemed so delicious to it.
