Mark scrolled through his tab and saw all of the greyed-out divine skills before seeing the COTGH skill. Mark chose this skill for two reasons. The first one was because of the amount of boosts that the skill would give him as a person. Mark knew that the skill took up a lot of mana to use, but it was more than worth it because Mark gained a shield, a healing factor, and protection against all flame and light-based attacks when he used the shield. And secondly, once Mark activated the skill, all his allies would gain a boost in their fighting ability, allowing them to fight longer and better than they normally would.
