Maria struck again and again. Each blow sliced through Damien's flesh, bit by bit. His blood ruptured like a breached river dam. The light in his eyes dimmed, leaving no trace, yet Maria persisted.

A mocking smirk lingered on Damien's face, a sight Maria yearned to erase. It was the arrogance gleaming in his eyes that she sought to shatter. With every strike, she vented her anger and frustrations.

Only when the voice of the world called out did Maria halt.

Like Sarena, Maria received a notification. Damien's blood drenched her body, its warmth intensified by the humid environment, courtesy of the Tyrant's fiery onslaught.

For the final time, Maria pierced Damien's heart, splitting his ribcage wide open. Her sword, once sharp, now dulled and crimson-stained, fell from her grasp. Disgust contorted her features as she cast the weapon aside.
