บท 87: Escaaaape!

Reluctantly turning away from the second human, Scaly rushed towards the forest like she had been doing before she took the opportunity to kill one of the two humans still left alive after the attack of the ancient dire wolf. Doing her absolute best to stop herself from giving in to the greedy thoughts that wanted to try and attempt landing the killing blow on the ancient dire wolf.

"That lizard is still alive…"

At the same time that Scaly rushed towards the forest again, one of the humans currently busy trying to weaken the ancient dire wolf, noticed her as she ran past them and a few greedy thoughts of claiming the bounty for himself quickly began appearing in his head-

Bang!

However, he didn't get the chance to act on these thoughts, as his momentary lapse in attention resulted in him getting sent flying by the ancient dire wolf's tail.
