บท 43: Human Settlement

Frozen on the spot as she took in the countless powerful humans moving around the mountainous part of the island in front of her, Scaly began to think that it might be better to remain inside the swamp and find a way to hunt down the swamp alligators without being swarmed by them.

Although the swamp alligators would be hard to deal with, it would be far easier to hunt them down compared to trying to hunt for monsters in a place filled to the brim with powerful humans. Especially considering that there seemed to be an endless stream of new humans travelling down from the spiral staircase piercing the sky above and into the settlement located at the base of the spiral staircase.

Even if some of the humans ended up leaving. Making it easier for her to traverse the mountainous terrain, they would soon be replaced by new humans coming to take their place in hunting down the monsters roaming around the mountainous terrain…
