The chatter of conversation echoed throughout the large village square of the gnome settlement. The feast, prepared by Arias, had brought a lively atmosphere to the village. The gnomes who had tasted Arias’s cooking couldn’t stop praising him. None of them had imagined that a king, no less, would be such a skilled cook. If they hadn’t been told beforehand that Arias was a king, they might have mistaken him for a professional chef.
Around the feast, groups of children were running and playing with joy. They weren’t all that different from human children, full of energy and curiosity. Some even came up to Arias asking for more food, thanking him before rushing back to join their friends.
As time passed, the gnome village's feast came to an end. The gnomes offered to clean up and take care of the dishes and the area. With the festivities concluded, Arias, Olivia, and Farcia made their way to the scripture hall instead.
