Time never stopped. It went by like a river that flows past all things. The sun hung in the sky only to disappear behind the horizon when its time was over. The formerly sleeping moon shone its light in the dark sky. All things were under the law of time. Day turned into night and night into day. The little birds that were once nothing but weak creatures started to spread their wings and took flight. For some people, four months might fly by in the blink of an eye. But for others, it could feel like it had been decades.
