บท 168: The Hunt for the Dragon Part I

There was a lush green forest that spread wide, its size bigger even than the entire city of Bernier. This forest was full of large trees, with their branches stretching out. These trees stood tall like giants all over the forest. Some of them were hundreds of years old, each with a girth so huge it would not fit in a circle formed by ten people. It was commonly known that this forest was full of beasts, so not a lot of humans would set foot inside to disturb them. For this reason, the forest was usually peaceful and quiet.

But today, it looked like something was disturbing this usually peaceful forest. An enormous bird was flying in the sky, casting a dark shadow that made low-level beasts run away in fear of being attacked by the flying predator. However, the iron-winged eagle did not seem to be paying attention to any of those beasts, only flying as commanded by its master.
