"I didn't realize this was so complicated," I told one of my new teammates, Kaya, while we walked back to our desks.
"I'm sure you can manage," Kaya said in an attempt to encourage me.
We had just reached our desks when one of the fresh grads, Oliver, approached us.
"Boss called for a team meeting, said it was urgent," Oliver didn't linger, he quickly moved on to the other members of the team spreading the message.
Kaya and I looked at each other, wondering if one knew something the other didn't.
"Maybe there are more details coming from the higher ups." There was not.
"Or someone came up with an idea worth discussing," I shrugged as we gathered our laptops and found a seat around the huddle space.
Donavan wasn't here yet, but what seemed to be most of the team had already found their place and was chatting among themselves.
A few minutes passed and finally Donavan walked in.
