บท 107: How to be a Husband

— Lilith POV — 

"You'll never believe this!" Emily was laughing as she entered my office her phone in hand.

I don't know how long Cassandra and I have been hunched over my desk trying to find a pattern in all of the documents.

They were there, the people I suspected were already confirmed, I just needed to know who else was in on the plot.

"Mrs. Harris, this is worth it, trust me," I groaned as she called me Mrs. Harris. 

Emily had insisted that it was out of respect for my husband and his family, but I suspected that it was partially to annoy me.

"Okay, I'll bite," I grumbled, not appreciating the interruption. "What is it?"

"Do you know where you husband went?" she asked me.

"Probably to harrass my cousin for me," I shrugged. "Alexander isn't a prisoner in my office, he can come and go as he likes. I'd prefer it if he left."

Emily laughed and shook her head.
