Chapter 45:

Rebekah's Pov

I stare at the porridge laid in front of me. Another maid placed a side plate of barbecued beef , vegetables and fruits.

How dou finish everything here on this table. I wasn't going on a hunger strike.

"Eat up love. Your body needs it for healing." Reagan's voice broke through my thoughts.

"I didn't die or fasted. Just a minor wound and you're feeding me as though I'm a stuffed chicken." I whined as I took a spoonful of the porridge.

Two voices laughed behind me and turned around to see two guys. A twin.

"Sorry. Who are you two?" I asked.

Reagan answered my question instead. Introducing them as his cousins.

Oh. First time meeting his real family and I'm already messing it up by talking to Reagan so freely without respect. Will they hate me?

"This is James" he pointed the one on the right who waved at me with a smile. Was he shy?

"And that's Jason." The one on the left.
