บท 251: Chapter 251 - Desperate Situation

The scream from the room next door woke Talon and Emily instantly, even though Emily had been sleeping soundly. She realized it was past midnight as her eyes flew open. She quickly sat up and turned to Talon.

"Talon?" Emily whispered.

Talon just pressed his finger to his lips, signaling her to stay quiet.

They listened to the sound of a man and a woman arguing. It was clear they were foreigners, not Japanese. Talon and Emily could understand some of the words, but it wasn't very clear.

Another scream echoed, followed by the sound of something being slammed against the wall. It was hard to tell if it was an object or someone being pushed.

Emily looked at the wall where the strange sounds were coming from. "What should we do? Should we help?" she asked.

"No, it's not our business," Talon replied.
