บท 100: Two men fighting for one girl?

Maximus looked at Delilah, standing near the trees with her body leaning on one of the trees like a kid who knew she was going to be punished, as he heard about what exactly happened.

"Can you explain why you twisted that wheel, Miss Tianna?" Maximus asked Tianna, who looked down at her feet.

"I... I just didn't want the driver to run over the rogues and kill them in cold blood," Tianna said, gritting her teeth as she cursed herself inwardly for saying that. But it was the first excuse that came to her head, and Maximus quirked his brows before looking at Prince Elwin, who arrived only a few seconds ago.

"You were being sympathetic for the rogues even when you knew they came to attack you guys? And that if we had been late, you guys could've ended up dead? You were ready to sacrifice your life because you didn't want to have some blood on your hands?" Maximus asked.

The more he spoke, the more Tianna realized how foolish her thinking was.
