"We need to lure it out," John said. "We can't fight it in the forest. Too many variables."
Natasha nodded, and they moved carefully, trying to get a better look at the creature. As they approached, the monster turned, its eyes locking onto them. With a roar, it charged, crashing through the trees towards them.
"Now!" John shouted, and they split, each taking a different path to confuse the creature.
The plan worked, and the monster hesitated, unsure of which target to pursue. John took advantage of the moment, firing a shot that struck the creature's side. It roared in pain and fury, turning its attention to him.
"Come on, you beast," John muttered, backing away to lead it towards the clearing.
Natasha circled around, firing another shot to keep the creature off balance. They moved in a coordinated dance, each step calculated to draw the monster away from the village.
