Appearances can be deceiving. Samar had never felt this phrase to be more true before than after stepping through the portal. 

Everywhere around him was dead, dried grass, shining under the bright starlight. Few Berry Fruit Trees with leaves could be seen around the periphery, none of them bearing fruit. 

As he looked further, towards the Treasure Vault, they even found broken bones that could have only belonged to Elves. 

It was hard to imagine that the paradise shown in the picture on the portal was this place. They had to believe it because of the notifications they received as soon as they stepped into the dungeon.
