The skills of the Dungeon Lord gave Samar a pause. 

He looked at the dark thick cover of bark enveloping the tree trunk and realized that the real Treant was hidden behind these layers. Beautiful Yellow leaves hanging from the branches were actually a deadly trap. 

Samar looked around and found numerous other standing trees in the vicinity. It was as if the battle in this area had not been as destructive as the outer regions.
