บท 8: Chapter 8 - Parents
It was now the next day, Kaito was walking around the mall trying to look for a job, He continued looking around til he bumped into someone, dropping his map of the mall and list of jobs "..I'm so sorry, I wasn't looking where I was going.."
"It's no problem dear, more importantly are you alright?" The lady asked as as Kaito picked up his map and list as he looks up and sees the ladies infront of him "Honestly, you should pay attention to where your going kid"
Kaito looked at them and saw their features as Kaito mumbled "..Midoriya-kun and Bakugo-kun..?"
The two ladies stared at Kaito suprised that he knows their names names as one of the ladies who looked like Bakugo asked "How do you know those names?"
".. I'm sorry it's just that.. you two look oddly like my classmates.. Izuku Midoriya and Katsuki Bakugo.." Kaito said as the shorter woman smiled and said "That's good, We are their parents after all" She said as she introduced herself "I'm Inko and this is Mitsuki, We're Izuku and Katsuki's mom's"
Kaito politely bowed as he introduced himself "..Hello, I'm Kaito Izumi, I'm a classmate of your sons.." Inko and Mitsuki smiled as Kaito looked at them
"It's nice to meet you, kid and what are you doing here today? From what it looks like you seem to be job hunting" Mitsuki said as she saw the map and list
"Oh dear, Your still young so why are you looking for a job, kids your age should be out there, having fun while your still young, your parents are supposed to be the ones who's working, not you.." Inko said as she smiled
"..I.. uh.. don't really have any parents.. at least.. I think I don't.. I don't really remember them.." Kaito said as he didn't really want to talk about his 'parents'
Inko and Mitsuki were shocked as Inko apologize repeatedly, feeling bad that she brought up something that made Kaito uncomfortable "I'm so sorry Izumi-kun, I hope I didn't upset you.."
".. it's fine ma'am.. like I said I don't really remember them so.. no harm done.." Kaito said as Inko still felt guilty
"Izumi-kun, could you bend down a bit?" Inko asked as Kaito bent down a bit as Inko patted Kaito's head
"I know I have no right but.. If you ever need someone to talk to I'm more than happy to help with what I can.." Mitsuki smiled and chimed in "Oh, what the heck.. Your a good kid, Izumi-kun, so if you ever have any trouble come to me, I'll beat up anyone who makes a good kid like you upset!" Mitsuki said as she flexed her arms, trying to show some muscle
Kaito nodded and stood back up "..thank you.. It was nice meeting you, Midoriya-san, Bakugo-san.."
"Call me Inko, dear" She said as Mitsuki smiled "And just call me Mitsuki"
Kaito nodded "..okay, Inko-san, Mitsuki-san.. I better get going now.. I have to continue looking for a job.." Kaito politely bowed then walked away as Inko and Mitsuki went ahead and continued their shopping
Kaito continued to visit every store he could find but none of them were looking for a part timer, He eventually gave up and went to the park to clear his head, He was now sitting on the bench, on his phone, trying to look up any job offers in the area as he sees a couple and their child, eating ice cream, he doesn't know why but he felt envious as he looked at his phone, He switched and looked at himself from the camera as he sees his face and blindfold
Kaito couldn't help but wonder why his parents abandoned him, thinking why did they not want him, why did he have to be alone, what did he do to make his parents leave him, what could he do to make them take him back, should try to find them, can he find them, all these questions were circulating around his head, Kaito shook his head and got up and walked away, not knowing where he'd go he just walked around aimlessly
Kaito found himself infront of the old building he used to live in, He stood there for a few seconds, silently staring at it, Kaminari, Kirishima and Sero were looking for Kaito, hoping to help him get a job as Sero turned to see Kaito standing infront of the building
"Kamibro, Kiribro, I think I found Izumi-kun" Sero said as Kaminari and Kirishima looked at where Sero was looking at just as Kaito walked inside the abandoned building
Kaminari, Kirishima and Sero decided to follow him, wondering what he's up to, Kaito took the tarp off and walked inside heading to the tent he and the kids made as Kaminari, Kirishima and Sero were close behind him, listening to him as he spoke
".. it's been a while since I've been here.. I kind of missed this.. my old home.." Kaito said as Kaminari, Kirishima and Sero were shocked to hear that this was where he used to live, They see Kaito walk inside the tent the bend down to pick something up
"..I guess we really did leave everything behind.. even their toys.." Kaito said as he picked up dolls he made for Yui and Ran from an old socks and other things, remembering how they'd bring them everywhere, even out to play when He'd let them
"..I wonder.. If my parents didn't abandon me.. where would I be now.. who would I be now.. would I have even met Shiba, Justin, Hibiki, Yui and Ran.. would I have met Aizawa back then.. probably not.. I probably wouldn't have cared for them like I do now.." Kaito said as he took all the toys he made and placed them neatly next to each other and got up
"..I hope whoever picks you up next will be a kind kid.. who'll have a lot of fun and take good care of you all.." Kaito said as he turned around, Kaminari, Kirishima and Sero quickly hid, hoping Kaito would see them and luckily he didn't as Kaito walked away
Kaminari, Kirishima and Sero looked at each other then nodded, then left, Deciding not to speak of this to anyone ever, making it into their secret that only the three of them know
