Lily finally arrived at the hospital, her contractions growing stronger by the minute, but Raven didn't leave her side. After a brief check-in process, she was helped by the nurses to the labor room. But just as the nurses were about to settle her in, she hesitated.

"Wait, can my husband come with me?" she asked, her voice firm but anxious. Deep down, she was scared of going in there alone. She didn't know what was waiting, but she wanted to have Raven beside her. With him beside her, she was sure she would do just fine.

The nurses exchanged a brief glance before nodding. "Of course, let's get someone to call for him."

Raven was outside, pacing back and forth. He had done so many dangerous things, been in situations of life and death, but he was never fazed. Right now, he was beyond scared, and his hands were trembling.
