บท 10: There's Never A Dull Moment In Paradise
"We're gonna be late dad" a little brown-haired boy about ten years old ran towards a middle aged man with an urgent expression. The man currently wore the uniform of the Nature's Family police force, so it was obvious that he was a working man.
The uniform blends shades of green, white, and blue, creating a harmonious ensemble that echoes nature's palette. Adorning the chest is a prominent emblem featuring a giant tree, symbolizing not only the officers' commitment to safety but also their dedication to environmental responsibility and community welfare.
"But why would you wanna go to the Combat school? all of your friends are applying to Elder Agnes Dojo" the man asked.
"Because 'fighting with your fist is the way real men should fight', I saw that in the comic books"
Hearing his son's response, the man couldn't help but shake his head. These comics are said to be authored personally by Patriarch Ephon himself, so some of the family members treat the stories, characters and lessons like words from God.
And his son just happened to be one of them, he had read almost all of the comics, even the first comic released in 1440.
"The train isn't going anywhere Johnny, we still have ten minutes"
But the boy ignored his father, and he pulled his father towards the train station. This train station holds the W, N, E, S trains heading in the four main directions of the island.
And Johnny and his father were boarding the E train.
Stepping onto the train, the ambient sounds of wheels on tracks set a purposeful rhythm as it embarks on the journey towards a combat training facility. Passengers, clad in different clothing gear, share a focused demeanor, mentally preparing to accomplish their different jobs to provide for their family.
Everyone is grateful that they were born in this part of the Calm Belts, the citizens would have never thought they would say such a thing before Ephon came and gave them Paradise.
With his Monstrous strength, genius inventions, and outwardly governance system, perfect could not describe him anymore. And that is why some family members truly consider him as God, a God that gave them the gift of heaven.
It has been some time since these trains were introduced into the economy of the island, and after witnessing its effects, no one is opposed to it. One can travel from any corner of Black Bay to the other corner in two hours. Whereas before, it would've taken an entire day.
Not to mention that after the island was divided into four districts, with an airport, roadways and different forms of transportation, life has neve been easier. But despite the many forms of transportations available, members still prefer the train. Only when traveling to neighboring islands do they take the planes.

East of Black Bay
Apollo's Training GYM
In a bustling giant building filled with a variety of exercise equipment and modern amenities. Mirrored walls reflect the rows of cardio machines, weightlifting stations, and aerobics areas. The equipment varies in size, some barbells were even larger than a full grown adult.
All of the machines were occupied by men and women of different ages and sizes, there was even a Giant boxing ring in the middle of the Gym. It was obvious that this isn't a normal Gym, not to mention the Giant 15 feet brown hair man standing in front of the boxing ring seemingly refereeing a fight.
"Ghahahala, use 'Tekkai', and you use 'Shigan', yes! Just like that, no, don't step back, use 'kami-e', try to keep this up for 30 minutes" Apollo instructed.
Apollo who now stood at 15 feet tall was instructed by two members of his Gym in the use of the marine six styles in combat. Except for when he had first open this Combat Gym, he usually wouldn't be doing this.
It's not that he can't use his brains to do such jobs, but he doesn't like to use his head, so after surpassing his brother in the number of active members in his Gym, he hired some men who are proficient in different marine six styles to teach, while he laid back and enjoyed his retirement.
But his brother seemed to have used the same trick that he used and surpassed his member count in one fell swoop. So he came up with another plan, or rather, he ran to his good brother Ephon to ask for advice.
And his brother did not disappoint, Ephon told him to gather some of the strong students of his Gym, and challenged his brother to a competition to see who's combat style is superior.
He seemed that a whole new world had opened up for Apollo when he heard Ephon's idea, he couldn't help but lament that his good brother was a genius. So he rushed back to gather his best fighters, but then he discovered a problem.
The quality of his fighters are lower than he expected, so here he is, trying to train his best two members as fast as possible so that he can challenge Agnes. The two of them had never stopped their challenges even when they had moved to what people call paradise.

It has been two weeks since the fight between Ephon and Nolan, and the citizens were returning back to their regular lives. But a piece of news quickly reset the festive atmosphere in Nature's Family's territory.
Flying drones were invented decades ago, and it is used in many parts of the family's daily lives.
News Delivery is just one of them, there are hundreds of security drones at the borders of the Triangle equipped with advanced weapons, and drones could be seen flying about on Black Bay and islands in the Triangle from time to time.
This is a public form of monitoring done by the police force, there is no advanced weaponry attached, but its monitoring system is still advanced.
The only shortcoming, or maybe an advantage, is that these drones can only function within the scope of the island's electromagnetic reach. But the Family isn't too worried about this, they are working on other projects. For now at least, the drones can be considered more than advanced and sufficient enough.
The buildings of Black Bay can be considered advanced yet vintage at the same time. Most of the houses are wooden, mixed with concrete and different types of rocks.
Almost all of the houses look the same, although they may vary in color, but all of them from district one to four are two story houses that exhibit a charming fusion of natural and modern elements.
Their exterior combines warm wooden panels with sturdy stone and concrete accents, creating a harmonious blend of textures.
The wooden elements evoke a rustic charm, while the strategic use of stone and concrete provides a contemporary touch, resulting in a home that seamlessly integrates into its suburban surroundings with a timeless appeal.
And flying above these houses are News Paper Drones, dropping the papers into the well gated yards of the houses.
"Elder Agnes and Elder Apollo would like to announce their first ever 'Battle of the Best', held in the Main arena in District One, on 1/1/1452, it will also be broadcasted, all family members are invited"
"Wow, another one, there's really never a boring moment in the Triangle"
"Brother Agnes will obviously win, I heard that he teaches swordsmanship and is a great swordsman like Elder Ephon and Elder Nolan, I mean, did you see their fight"
"There's never a dull moment for too long in the Triangle, hahaha, Hopefully I don't have work on that day"
The entire Black Bay Burst into excitement over the news, but here wasn't the only place notified, the other island territories also got the news. Some people even started booking flights to Black Bay immediately.
