บท 132: Chapter 16: Shadows Overshadowed

With the dwarf following behind me and about 15 guards surrounding us, we made our way out of the castle. I made Thordin stop by the garrison, but I also dropped Harold off to go with some guards to keep watch on Marcella. 

I couldn't take any chances, and it was part of the reason why I wanted Thordin to work with me. I needed to keep him updated so we could work in tandem to keep the castle's royalty safe. What I wanted to do was hunt down the assassins myself and get them out of the way. Instead, I had to trust that Daelen and his men would be keeping close eyes on them.

"I assume that you are going to tell me at some point why you want so many guards?" Thordin asked, and I nodded.
