บท 131: Void of Kháos

As they sat to watch Ziva escort the prisoners off their property, the mischievous duo waved them off. They laughed when the last silhouette vanished, Aurelia laughing hardest while Zariel gave a mild chuckle. 

He wheeled her back in, and Aurelia hopped to her feet, shedding her coat of gauze and cas. A newfound flush spread around her face, like she was on a new adventure. 

Zariel had never seen her so ecstatic. It almost seemed a miracle she could maintain a straight face in front of the Castellan men. She was quite the actor. 

"You better head back; none of us want your cauldron to explode like last time." The excitement over her young face drained as fast as it appeared before she bolted away, screaming for it not to go boom. 

Her wish was granted, but her concoction had been spoiled by the lack of a constant source of fire properly controlled to help extract the properties of each of the herbs she used.
