The alarm's frequency varied depending on the urgency of the situation, and right now… it clearly meant disaster!
The guard on duty, who had been dozing off, abruptly jolted awake with bleary eyes. "W–What…?"
At first, he had no idea what he was seeing, just that the walls around him were shrouded in a pulsating crimson glow. In the next moment, however, his eyes focused on the panoramic screens displaying the map of the entire city, and his jaws dropped, eyes widening to the maximum.
"Oh God…" he breathed out, horror etched across his features.

I've briefly dropped this foreshadowing in the earlier chapters, but lemme review it once again. The nine hierarchical orders of angels: Seraphim > Cherubim > Ophanim > Dominations > Virtues > Authorities > Rulers > Archangels > Angels
the higher they are, the more power they have and the further they are from human forms. Actually, this is Father Song's form after he's fallen, while originally... heheh this will be revealed in the future chapters ^^
Belial is the lowest order (angel) which is why he's the closest to humans, as in the form and emotions. You can see Father Song struggling to understand human emotions *wipe tears*
