บท 82: Unexpected Accident

"P–Punishment?" Rui Ye stammered, gulping nervously. "What kind of punishment?" 

The corner of Song Zhuyu's lips hooked into a careless smile. "Why don't you try me?" he challenged before reaching out to measure the temperature of Rui Ye's forehead. 

After confirming that the man's fever had pretty much subsided, Song Zhuyu headed to the bathroom to freshen up before leaving, with Rui Ye seeing him off at the door like an abandoned puppy. 

Song Zhuyu hadn't taken two steps away when he suddenly paused, scratching his brow in frustration. He turned back and ushered Rui Ye into the house, telling him, "Be good. I will be back at night."

"Oh…" Rui Ye replied listlessly, lacking his usual vigor and energy. 

With a helpless huff, Song Zhuyu ruffled his hair gently. "I will buy you something delicious to eat," he promised before leaving for real this time.
