Unaware of what transpired in the room to make it so messy and full of cracks, Jian blinked his eyes again and again to regain a trace of clarity from his blurry vision and consciousness.

"Ugh," Jian grunted as he blurted "I... am alive?" out in a daze before his eyes fixed on the tableau of ruination, which was the condition of the room with cracked walls and spread-out paper bundles.

'Just what happened in the short time I had fainted?' Jian wondered in a confused state, but the only one who could answer him was busy drawing the most effective plans to teach Jian enough that he would be able to hold on his own against others.

"Oh, you're awake?"

The sudden voice brought Jian to the present as he turned to look at Rio, and everything became clear to him as he couldn't help but think. 'What did I get myself into?'
