บท 112: Chapter 112: The Dragon Clan

Right before Arken's eyes, the pendant shattered into small pieces.

Arken's pupils trembled in disbelief. It wasn't an ordinary pendant. It was a treasure given by King Triton himself! It should never have broken!

Even if something had happened to the Princess, the pendant should still have led him to her. But somehow, it broke as soon as he came across this man. 

He looked at the man who didn't look any special. Instead, the man felt like he was going to die on his own, even if he didn't do anything. 

Was it just a coincidence that the pendant broke when it came across this man? Could that really be the case? That seemed unlikely, but he also didn't want to believe that a frail mortal could break a treasure like that. 

"It must have been because I am on the surface," he tried to justify it in his mind. The Oceanic Region and the surface had different essences after all.
