Weiss immediately checked his system inventory as a blue-colored system screen with infinite small boxes appeared in front of him.
His system inventory had similar designs to the player inventory of most video games. However, unlike those games with limited inventory space, Weiss discovered that his system inventory was infinite.
His system inventory has one hundred boxes per page and it has infinite pages. On page 1, the first column of boxes stored the God-Level Gamer Talent x1, One Thousand Forced Players Card x1, Game Item Shop 90% Discount Coupon x1, and Past Life Inheritance Card x1.
Tapping on the box that contained the God-Level Gamer Talent x1, Weiss saw that a small text box button appeared on top of it which was [Use].
Pressing the [Use] button, Weiss felt his body and soul integrate with the God-Level Gamer Talent.
Weiss was already one of the best gamers in his past life yet he felt reborn anew. His current self with the God-Level Gamer Talent could easily defeat a hundred of his previous self.
As for why he couldn't defeat a thousand of his previous self, Weiss felt that his physical prowess couldn't allow long-term usage of the God-Level Gamer Talent.
Unlike his past life's physical prowess, his new life's physical body was quite weak.
"If I'm not mistaken, my soul should have transmigrated into the body of my parallel self. But this parallel self of mine was similar to me with the only exception of not exercising and learning martial arts."

After using the Past Life Inheritance Card, Weiss felt the improvement in his physical body and he punched the air to test the power he could exert. Afterward, he started performing his martial arts moves in his room.
Weiss noticed that he didn't have to train to get used to his power since the Past Life Inheritance Card came with muscle memory. It was as if he transmigrated into this world with not just a soul but his body as well.
"With my current physical strength, I can become a God-Level Gamer and defeat five hundred of my previous self in gaming. Unfortunately, my current physical strength is only the limit of the human body."

"But since my body is too weak to defeat a god in a game, I'd probably disintegrate just from the overheating before I can even outrun a god."
"Although the God-Level Gamer Talent doesn't make me invincible against existences at higher realms, I am still invincible in the same power level."
Weiss was confident that currently, he was the strongest human in Blue Star. If he were to fight against the first batch of otherworld creatures invading Blue Star two months from now, he would undoubtedly win.
But if it was to defeat the gods later on, Weiss knew that he had to develop more games so that he could obtain game items that improved his power.
After Weiss used the God-Level Gamer Talent and the Past Life Inheritance Card, he decided to use the One Thousand Forced Players Card.

Muttering those words, Weiss activated the One Thousand Forced Players Card.
Summoning a system screen, Weiss saw that his second game server for Zombie Survival Online was filled with one thousand players which was the limit.
As for why it's not the first game server, it was due to that game server already having 14 players. The game server has a one thousand player limit so the One Thousand Forced Players Card took effect on the second game server which has no players in it.
Even if there were players in the game server, the game would only start if there were a thousand players in the server. So, the second game server which has one thousand players was about to start while the first game server with only 14 players didn't start yet.
When Weiss noticed the countdown for the game to start in the second game server of Zombie Survival Online, Weiss muttered, "I'm bored. I might as well join the players in playing the first-ever round of Zombie Survival Online."

When Weiss entered Zombie Survival Online, he joined the game as an NPC instead of a player. Because of that, he didn't take any quota from the players. He also couldn't take any rewards from the game since the system wouldn't allow him.
After all, it would be a loophole if he could join as a player and win the game, exploiting the game by receiving the rewards for winning it. Moreover, as the game developer, Weiss had access to in-game cheats so it would be unfair to the players if he cheated and hoarded all of the rewards.
When Weiss arrived in a dark space and in that dark space, there were countless players in it.
All of the one thousand players were currently in the lobby as the game hadn't started yet. In front of each player was the game system screen which showed not only the countdown but also a rundown of what happened to them.
Weiss was currently in spectator mode so none of the players could see him. He was floating above them, looking down on them as he witnessed their actions.
"Fuck! Is this a prank?! How come I can't leave this VR Game?"
"Is this even a game? Even the latest VR game in Blue Star doesn't have the full immersion experience yet. I can't even log out!"
"From what the game screen said, it seems we are trapped here until the game ends. Only the top 3 survivors in the game could live and gain rewards while the rest would… die."
"Damn it! I didn't sign up for this! Not only did this game force me into this shit, I can't even leave. And the only way to leave is to either win or die. I have read countless VRMMORPG novels where they would be stuck in a death game but I never expected I would have the same experience."
"There are one thousand players here and only three winners. In other words, nine hundred ninety-seven of us will die and only three can live. No matter how good I am at gaming, I doubt I can survive this."

In the game lobby, there was still a minute before the game would start yet all of the players were in an uproar.
After all, who wouldn't? Especially when not only they were brought into this game without their free will, but they were also told that failure to survive would result in death!
Only a few could remain calm in this situation and the most eye-catching among them was none other than a girl with long waist-length white hair and golden-colored eyes.
Her beauty was unmatched in the entire game lobby and if not for the grave situation, the male players would undoubtedly be attracted to her appearance. However, when faced with the game screen which revealed that they were inside a death game, the male players were desperate to survive and didn't want to associate with anyone.
After all, everyone would become their competitor so at most, they would only form an alliance with three players since only three could win. And with such few slots for their team, they wouldn't bring a girl into their team who would only be a useless flower vase.
Of course, there weren't any options for multiplayer but that didn't stop the players from forming an alliance.
The game screen had already informed them that their appearance was their real-world appearance and it couldn't be changed. So as long as the players recognized the appearance of their team members, they could still proceed with their alliance and team up to win the game if they ever managed to encounter each other in the game world.
However, there were also those who chose to be alone since not only did they not trust other people with their backs, but they also were confident with their capabilities.
Such players included the beautiful girl with long white hair and golden eyes. In the game lobby, she had already distanced herself from the rest of the players.
Surveying her surroundings in the game lobby, she sighed, "If only my brother was here, I could have formed a team with him."

The game screen counted down until it reached 0 seconds. When it did, all of the players disappeared from the game lobby, leaving only Weiss who was currently in spectator mode.
Weiss didn't immediately follow the players to the game world since he wasn't in a hurry.
"To make the players treat this game more seriously, I tweaked the game screen announcement and let the game inform the players about being thrown into a death game where death in the game would mean death in the real world. But in reality, that's just a lie and I only wanted to prank them for fun."
"Of course, the players inside the game don't know about that. But if they died in the game and returned to the real world, they would discover that it was all but a prank."
"But damn, imagine kidnapping one thousand people in just mere seconds. I must be the greatest kidnapper in human history!"
While Weiss was amused with the reactions from the players, he immediately realized something. "Wait, did my sister just enter the game?"
