2.54% God-Level Game Developer System: I Brought In-Game Items To Real World / Chapter 6: The Difference Between Game World And Real World

บท 6: The Difference Between Game World And Real World

The NPCs that Weiss had in mind were just normal humans as well as some animals that could be found in a modern city.

"It wouldn't be challenging if the zombies were just humans. Plants and animals could also be infected by the zombie virus and evolve into zombies."

"After all, this city-state isn't large for nothing. I can divide a part of the city where the ratio of a certain zombie type is larger than other parts of the city. For example, the northern part of the city can be infested with mutated plants while the southern part will be filled with mutated animals."

When those came into Weiss' mind and he approved of it as part of the game's mechanics, Weiss' thoughts seemed to be imposed on the entire game world. The rules of the game world changed into what Weiss had envisioned.

After all, the creation of the game world was dependent on Weiss' thoughts and words rather than his skills in programming. Even someone who didn't have any experience in programming or hasn't even learned any computer language could easily create a game via the Game Developing Tool.

Inside the Game Workshop, the development of the game world mostly depended on Weiss' imagination. Weiss had already started creating the NPCs such as the humans and animals that would soon be infected by the zombie virus when the game started.

In the northern part of the city, Weiss added several greenhouses which would be the source of those mutated plants. In the southern part, there were several zoos added.

If those players knew about it, they would curse after seeing those lions and crocodiles become mutated animals. It was already difficult to fight those lions and crocodiles normally, let alone those lions and crocodiles in their zombie form.

Having humans turn into zombies was already difficult to deal with, let alone even animals and plants mutating into zombies.

"Although this Zombie Survival game looks quite difficult, it's mostly dependent on who lives the longest. Since there are one thousand players per server, only the top 3 will receive rewards so the last three to survive will be the winner."

"Surviving the longest is the main objective of this game. But aside from the main objectives, there are also objectives aside from that which are the minor objectives. Completing minor objectives will improve the reward received after completing the main objective."

"As long as a lot of minor objectives are completed, it's possible for the top 3 survivors to surpass the rewards obtained by the top 1 survivor, assuming that the top 1 survivor didn't complete any minor objectives."

"All in all, the minor objectives exist as final reward multipliers that if completed, will improve the quality of the rewards received. But if the main objective fails, then even if all minor objectives are completed, those players will not receive any rewards. After all, multiplying zero by ten is still zero."

Speaking his thoughts aloud, Weiss wasn't just simply talking to himself but also using his words to influence the game world.

Although his thoughts could also affect the game world, it would be too chaotic if all of his thoughts would directly affect the game world. So Weiss set it that unless his thoughts were approved by him, just fleeting thoughts wouldn't affect the game world.

So, words that were spoken by him were already considered as approving of the thoughts he had in mind. And even if he made a mistake, Weiss could just use his god-like authority in the Game Workshop to reverse it to when he hadn't made that mistake.

After Weiss created the NPCs, he added the finishing touches to this game world.

With a flick of his wrist, a zombie virus that was invisible to the naked eye appeared floating on top of his palm.

Weiss was adding the finishing touches to the zombie virus so that it wouldn't cause any unnecessary bugs that would make it too overpowered.

Of course, even if the zombie virus was too overpowered, it wouldn't cause any serious game experience for those players. At most, it would only prevent them from completing those minor objectives and they would inevitably experience the bullying of those zombies.

But, it would be impossible for them to fail the main objective. No matter what, the last three players to survive in the game world will be deemed as the winners of the game.

However, Weiss designed it so that the game would continue regardless if the last three players survived. The game will only end if the last survivor finally dies and no players have survived.

After tweaking the game balance, Weiss breathed a sigh of relief, "The Zombie Survival game is finally completed."

"Even if there are problems, it's not like I can't fix it after receiving game data and statistics from having players play the game."

With the Game Developing Tool, it was nigh impossible to develop a game with bugs.

If there was a bug in the games developed by Weiss, then it's not the Game Developing Tool's problem, but a skill issue on Weiss' part.

However, when Weiss thought that he had completed the game, he realized one crucial problem.

To confirm whether it was a problem or not, Weiss asked Alice, "What happens in the game world? Like, are the things experienced such as pain the same as what someone can experience in the real world?"

[Yes, you are correct. The only difference between the Game World and the Real World is that death in the Game World is false while death in the Real World is true. Furthermore, damages or injuries experienced in the Game World wouldn't be brought over to the Real World.]

[Mental damages are included so if a player experienced PTSD or had a trauma after experiencing a Horror Game created by you, that trauma can easily be cured by the system.]

Receiving that reply from Alice, Weiss was relieved that the game world wasn't as cruel as he expected.

After all, it was already frightening to play a horror game let alone in full immersion.

However, Alice's reply confirmed the problem that Weiss had.

"This is the Game World and the laws of the real world don't apply here. So if a rapist ran rampant here, wouldn't it be a problem? After all, the senses and experiences are the same as the real world aside from death."

When Weiss realized that problem, he decided to fix it!

บท 7: Alice: You Have Me, So Don't Find Other Girls

After spending a few more hours in the Game Workshop, Weiss finally fixed all of the problems he had thought of especially the ones where crimes could be committed by players during the game.

Weiss had created a set of rules and it would be presented to the players before the game would start. And if those rules were broken, the players who broke the rules would be disqualified immediately and be expelled from the game world.

Furthermore, those players who broke the rules would have a 1-day ban if it was the first offense. The duration of the ban would increase exponentially.

"Heh, every game I created will be valued by the humans of this world. After all, in this modern world without any supernatural powers, wouldn't it cause a huge commotion if it was discovered that they could bring in-game items from my games to the real world as long as they win my games?"

"Especially when the otherworld invasion starts, my games at that time would be valued at an all-time high since it's the only source for humans to become stronger without having to risk their lives. Only a dumbass would want to break the rules and get banned from getting stronger."

Already guessing the results of his game especially after the otherworld invasion started, Weiss had a high opinion of the games he developed and would develop.

With the rules Weiss had added to the game, it wasn't allowed for players to rape other players or even NPCs.

NPCs in the real world might not have human rights, but in his games, Weiss gave the NPCs human rights. After all, the NPCs were no different from a human and the only difference between them was that the humans were born in the real world while the NPCs were born in the game world.

In terms of intelligence and emotions, NPCs were no different from humans. They could make decisions just like what a human would do.

If Weiss was those lustful transmigrators, he would have already planned to create a harem and smut game where he could experience having sexual intercourse with beautiful 2D girls in full immersion. However, Weiss didn't have that many desires in life aside from quenching his boredom so he didn't have any plans of doing that.

He felt that receiving the Game Developer System had allowed him to have more outlet in relieving his boredom. Such an entertaining system was what he needed the most to relieve the boredom in his life.

There was no point in becoming stronger if he was bored during that process and would inevitably suffer from boredom even after becoming the strongest.

[Yes, that's a good mindset to have, Weiss. Don't ever start a harem. You have me so don't find other girls.]

When Alice immediately interjected him while he was lost in his thoughts, Weiss was taken aback.

"Wait wut?"

Weiss didn't expect that Alice would say such words.

To not make Weiss misunderstand her words, Alice reminded him twice.

[You already have me, so don't find other girls.]

Hearing Alice's words again, Weiss realized that his ears weren't faulty. Not that it was, since Alice's words were transmitted directly to his mind rather than his ears.

"You must be very confident in your beauty and self-worth if you want to monopolize someone as handsome and talented as me."

"Just so you know, in my past life on Earth, the beautiful daughter of a Top Conglomerate had forced me to marry her but I destroyed her father's conglomerate afterward."

"The international idol who was the crush of almost all men and had captured the hearts of almost all men on Earth with her beautiful yet cute appearance had confessed to me in public. You know what happened afterward?"

Weiss playfully asked Alice.

[Yes, I know those pursuers of yours that you have mentioned. That beautiful idol's confession was rejected by you.]

Weiss wasn't surprised that Alice knew about his past life information.

He wasn't dense so he knew that Alice liked him.

Weiss wasn't the dense virgin boy he once was who was almost raped because of his innocence and naivety.

After all, beautiful girls would be raped by those men who had impure thoughts, the same went for handsome boys like him.

Knowing Weiss' thoughts which remembered that past of his, Alice sighed.

[That incident of your life where you were almost raped was a huge turning point in your life. Fortunately, you didn't lose your virginity at that time.]

[To think that a beautiful serial killer had kidnapped you, tied you up, and almost raped you.]

When Alice reminded him of that incident, Weiss also sighed, "I worked hard to maintain my handsome appearance as well as my virginity."

"After all, if I am not a virgin yet I wanted to have a virgin girl as my wife, wouldn't that be hypocrisy?"

"I have high standards for choosing a wife for myself since my very existence is the definition of high standards."

"Not only am I very rich and handsome, but I also am proficient in all household chores such as cooking, and I am at the peak of what a mortal can achieve in martial arts."

"Otherwise, if I wasn't that great, it would be impossible for girls and women of all walks of life to even pursue me."

[Looking back at your past, it was indeed filled with incidents that entertained you. No wonder you were bored almost every hour of the day, you have already completed life and are just doing side quests in the game of life.]

[You should have already noticed my feelings for you as if I didn't make it obvious enough. So what do you think? My only request is that you don't pursue other women.]

[Of course, regardless of whether you agree or not, I will still fulfill my promise of going on a date with you after you obtained 1 million Dev points.]

Hearing Alice's question, Weiss contemplated and finally made his decision.

"I.."
