บท 73: Night Owl

The light of the starlit night sky bathed the night, its radiance outlining the dark side of Terra.

The night was bright, not as bright as the day, but bright enough to make out something.

Under the radiance of the starlit night sky, a lone creature was atop a tree, yet its features could barely be made out as its black feathers absorbed the light of the starlit night.

Hoo!! Hoo!! Hoo!!

Sensing something it looked down, its pitch-black eyes easily overcoming the distance and landing on a strange creature, a creature that had the scent of its brethren.

Hoo!! Hoo!! Hoo!!

Killing intent surged in its eyes as it could tell that, the strange creature had killed one of its brethren, and from the scent that came of it, a child at that.

Swiss!! It cut through the wind, as it flew towards the strange creature, its razor-sharp claws extended ready to one-shot it.
