บท 169: City Of Wonders

Cain woke up covered in leaves and a wood pierced directly into his heart.

He removed the wood and got up from where his body was hidden.

"Whose bastard does not look twice before striking at someone, or is he perhaps insane and kills on sight?" Cain said as he willed another pair of clothes from his shadows as they instantly appeared on him while also getting rid of the old ones in the process.

"Time to get the hell out of here, I have to go look for this City of Wonder, everyone is talking about, I bet their bloods would taste really nice," said Cain forgetting about his descendant who killed him.

Cain wandered the earth for centuries, his mind consumed with thoughts of his solitary existence. Despite his newfound abilities as a Primordial Vampire, he found himself longing for companionship – for others like him who could understand the weight of immortality and the burden of their cursed lineage.
