"Oh no!" Mira turned pale. Without hesitation, she turned towards the way Nishimiya had come from.
Haru, understanding her intention, quickly stopped her. "Don't be reckless! It could be dangerous." He pulled her hand back, saying, "I'll go with you."
He then turned to Kuga and instructed, "You go back and warn the others quickly! We might have to leave the building through the rooftop."
"Sigh… Why can't we just get some rest?" Kuga's face turned bitter, but he knew what had to be done.
"You better come back quickly!" he added, before sprinting off towards their camp.
"I know." Haru's voice was steady, but his mind raced with the urgency of their situation.
The only thing he hoped was that the monster in the sky, the Golden-Wing Eagle, had left and wasn't around anymore. If it were still nearby, their situation would become even more perilous.
For now, since they hadn't heard its terrifying screech, it shouldn't be a problem.
