บท 237: The First Reaper

A few hours after Sabrat had vanished through the towering door, Mordak reappeared, looking as if he had just fought a fierce duel with the Yama King. His clothes were torn, and he was covered in soot and blood. He staggered into camp, his expression a mix of exhaustion and triumph.

"What happened to you?" Vesper asked, rushing to support Mordak before he collapsed from fatigue.

Mordak took a deep breath, trying to steady himself. "I managed to find the Devil's Heart Lotus," he said, holding up a small, glowing flower that pulsed with an eerie red light. "But it wasn't easy. Some fierce monsters guarded the flower"

The others gathered around, their eyes fixed on the precious flower that seemed to shimmer with a life of its own. Their focus was rather on the flower instead of their comrade who is heavenly injured and nearly at death's door.
