The moment everyone had been waiting for finally arrived.
"Duryodhan Vs Bheem!"
The announcement sent ripples of excitement through the crowd. The clash between Duryodhan, the formidable Kaurava prince, and Bheem, the mighty Pandava known for his unmatched strength, promised to be an epic battle.
The two contenders entered the arena from opposite sides, and the air crackled with tension. Duryodhan, with his imposing physique and impressive attributes, exuded confidence. Bheem, on the other hand, stood tall and resolute, his powerful presence commanding respect.
Out of curiosity, Aryan instructed the system to check Bheem's stats and the result really shocked him.
--------------------------------
* NAME : Bheem
* AGE : 25
* ATTRIBUTES :
•Strength = S
•Agility = B
•Physique = A
-----------------------------------
"This motherfucker! "
Aryan exclaimed in shock in his mind and barely controlled himself from showing it on his face.
This was the first time Aryan had seen someone with S level attribute except himself around noon after getting the ability Sunshine.
Yes, even Mahaamahim Bheesm himself only had A+ as the highest attribute. And there is a very huge gap between A+ and S.
But when Aryan remembered Bheem's adventure in Nagaloka, everything made sense as all the dots connected.
Aryan remembered reading that after Pandu's death, the reins of government were passed into the hands of Dhritarashtra.
The Kaurava (Dhritarashtra's family) and the Pandava children grew up together in Hastinapura.
From the earliest days the Pandava children were miles ahead of the Kauravas in intelligence, capacity to learn and physical strength. Bheem who was a strong lad, was also a big bully. He was fond of teasing his Kaurava cousins and he soon became their nemesis. Duryodhana, in particular, grew a deep hatred for Bheem, resulting in his earliest attempt to kill his cousin.
Duryodhana had a water pavilion built at a place called Pramankoti on the banks of the River Ganga. He then proposed that all his brothers and his five cousins spend a holiday there.
The children were sent to the new resort where they had a happy time, bathing in the river and feasting. At an opportune moment, Duryodhana managed to slip poison into Bheem's food.
Towards evening, while all the other children dressed up and returned to the palace, Bheem, under the influence of the poison, fell unconscious on the river bank and was lying alone. Making sure that nobody was watching, Duryodhana bound Bheem in ropes of creepers and threw him into the deep water. He then returned to the palace, sure that his cousin would be drowned and eaten by the creatures under the water.
But as Bheem sank to the bottom of the river, he accidentally reached Naga Lok, the underwater kingdom of snakes.
Poisonous snakes living there bit him all over his body. But instead of killing him, the venom of the snakes acted as antidote to the poison that Bheem had consumed previously. He then regained his consciousness and broke the ropes binding him.
The strong Bheem then pushed the surrounding snakes down in a scuffle. Soon the oppressed snakes took him to Vasuki, king of the Naga world.
At the Naga court, Bheem met a snake, Aryaka, who luckily turned out to be the great-grandfather of Kunti.
Intermixing of humans with asuras, nagas and apsaras was not uncommon in the Mahabharat era.
Anyway, the venerable old snake was pleased to recognize Kunti's son. He admired the boy's strength and recommended to Vasuki that Bheem should be given Rasakunda (vessels with nectar) that would restore him from his recent ordeal. After swallowing eight vessels-full of the nectar, Bheem went off to sleep. And when he woke up he had gained extraordinary strength thanks to the divine nectar he just drank.
"I guess protagonists always get opportunities out of disasters, no matter which world. "
Sighing helplessly Aryan focused back on the arena.
The horn sounded, marking the beginning of the battle between these two giants. Duryodhan wasted no time and charged forward, his mace raised high, aiming to use his strength to overwhelm Bheem.
Bheem, known for his straightforward approach, welcomed the challenge. He hefted his massive club, a weapon as iconic as his strength, and met Duryodhan head-on.
* Boom *
The clash between the two warriors was explosive. Duryodhan's mace and Bheem's club collided with thunderous force, creating shockwaves that could be felt throughout the arena. The audience watched in awe as the titans exchanged powerful blows.
Their weapons struck each other with such force that sparks flew, illuminating the arena like a shower of fiery stars. Duryodhan's mace and Bheem's massive club were on equal footing, neither yielding to the other.
The audience gasped with every resounding collision, unable to look away from the spectacle before them.
Duryodhan's face contorted with determination as he unleashed a barrage of powerful strikes, aiming to break through Bheem's defense. He swung his mace with precision and force, each blow calculated to test Bheem's limits. But Bheem, fueled by his immense strength, stood his ground.
"Arrhhh, what happened Duryodhan, I heard that you guys bullied Nakul and Sahadev in my absence? How about you show your strength in front of me. Yaaarhhhh. "
Bheem's club, an embodiment of his incredible might, met Duryodhan's mace head-on. The ground beneath them quaked with the impact, and the very air seemed to vibrate with their clash.
Bheem's unyielding determination was evident in his eyes, and he roared with every swing of his club, determined not to be overpowered by his Kaurava cousin.
The audience, including Aryan, watched with bated breath as the battle of strength and wills raged on. Duryodhan, the embodiment of Kaurava pride, refused to back down. He could accept being defeated by anyone else except Bheem.
As someone whom he hates from the bottom of his heart and who is also an expert in Gada-Yuddh, it was unacceptable for Duryodhan to loose to him.
Bheem, on the other hand, also hated Duryodhan for his cunning plots against him and his brothers. So he didn't spare any strength during the fight.
Both of them were locked in an epic struggle. Their weapons clashed, and sweat poured down their faces as they pushed their bodies to the limit.
The crowd's cheers and roars of encouragement filled the arena, adding to the intensity of the battle. Each strike, each parry, was met with thunderous applause.
