บท 18: Global Changes
At the edge of the frozen abyss, a massive battle raged in the skies.
A colossal dragon fought with all its might against the man before it.
The dragon tried everything, even its most powerful attack, the icy breath, couldn't harm the man.
After nearly a minute of attempts, the man decided to end it.
He raised a finger, and a small amount of black Qi gathered instantly.
Though its size was small, its pressure was so immense that the surrounding air hinted at breaking.
The man pointed his finger at the dragon's head, and then…
"Goodbye."
A beam of energy shot from his finger, piercing the dragon's head.
The beast couldn't react or protect itself with its Qi, and its strong skin was instantly pierced, ending its life.
The dragon then fell from the sky.
"Hmm, I wonder how it tastes?" The man wondered, licking his lips.
He quickly approached the dragon, and the dragon's body split into various pieces before disappearing into the air.
The disciples witnessed the dragon's rapid demise and were completely shocked by their leader's strength.
The elders were unfazed; after all, they already knew the man's power.
Li Yuemei observed the battle attentively, but due to her low cultivation, she could only catch glimpses of the fight.
Then, as she contemplated the battle, she suddenly noticed something.
"It disappeared!" She exclaimed loudly, startling her father.
"What's wrong, girl? Are you out of your mind?" The man responded instinctively but also noticed something.
"The heartbeat... stopped?"
In the sky, as the leader collected the dragon's body, he quickly sent a telepathic message to all the elders.
"Gather now in the ship's hall."
After sending the message, he suddenly saw the clouds that perpetually covered the sky of the frozen abyss rapidly expanding.
The sky outside the frozen abyss, which was previously clear, suddenly became completely overcast.
He quickly appeared in his chair in the ship's hall, and almost all the elders were already present. After a few seconds, everyone had arrived, and Li Yuemei was already in the hall with her father after discovering that the sound had disappeared.
Once everyone was gathered, they felt the temperature drop, and the leader of the sacred land looked at the sky from one of the windows of the ship's hall.
"It's snowing."
What he didn't know yet was that this wasn't happening only in this place.

The entire gigantic ice mountain had finally been completely devoured by the ice cocoon.

When this happened, the transformation of the body was finally complete.

The entire world felt it when part of the cocoon broke and the cold returned.
The planet was invaded by clouds again after millions of years, and then snow.
The cocoon was slowly breaking apart.

On the entire planet, snow began to fall from the sky. As the planet's temperature dropped, all the forces from all the continents didn't know what was happening.
Many places had never seen snow before, and this was a unique occurrence.
In an immense red castle, countless people gathered.
"How can it snow in our fire region? This is impossible; it has never happened even in millions of years; there is no record of it."
"Besides, what is this cold?"
Many people discussed it in the hall.
"Your Highness, do you think it could be a phenomenon of some special physique awakening?" An old, hunched-backed man asked.
"I don't know. Even a celestial-class physique wouldn't have this phenomenon," a man dressed in red with a crown on his head said with a furrowed brow.
Conversations like these occurred all over the planet, and no one knew their origins yet.
In an unknown place, there was a middle-aged man dressed in old clothes sitting on top of a mountain.
He looked at the sky, thought for a moment, and said.
"There are changes in the frozen abyss; I feel that a terrifying being will awaken soon, and the major forces need to know." He spoke to himself as he disappeared mysteriously from the mountain, as if no one had ever stepped on that place.
The snow continued for three days until, just as the snow came, it suddenly disappeared completely.

At the edge of the frozen abyss.
Everyone was gathered in the hall again.
"Look outside; the snow has stopped, and not only that, the frozen abyss is no longer cloudy," Li Yuemei said while looking at the abyss.
The sect master felt the changes and quickly entered the outer area of the frozen abyss.
"It's not as cold anymore; the climate here is changing. No, I need to find out why."
'Everyone who wants to follow me to the frozen abyss, will find out what is happening on their own.'
The leader of the sacred land telepathically told the elders while flying toward the center of the frozen abyss.
