The soul fragments were absorbed in the flesh, bones, and blood immediately. Sadly, these soul fragments couldn't pass on their memories to Leo as his soul was full of millions if not billions of them.
The number of soul fragments were now being absorbed from all directions. Even the soul fragments from planets that he had not passed through were rushing towards them.
In the front of the group, the empresses had looks of disbelief, since the amount of soul fragments that had been rushing towards Leo could have rendered any average person's soul into breaking apart.
Even they were not sure to have escaped unscathed if these mournful soul fragments had attacked them. They would still be harmed if not the hell empress protecting everyone's body with a soul protective barrier.
There were just too many of these souls that had suffered for who knows how much time. Their resentment was too potent to even scare these powerhouses.
To avoid accidents, the group had stopped moving and had situated on a barren planet, where Leo sat down in a meditative position as the black soul fragments rushed into his body. Everyone stood a few kilometers away from him for obvious reasons.
Leo had returned to his mind and was shocked to see his soul's state.
The lotus shape soul that he once saw was now huge, and it had thousands of petals. These petals were rich in soul energy.
To his surprise, his physical body's state was not much different. He could feel it clearly that his body was slowly being nourished by this soul energy.
He opened the system panel and looked at the assimilation rate.

Knowing that this soul energy was beneficial to him, Leo thought of accelerating this process.
Without any delay, he began to circulate his chaotic spiritual energy that resulted in a ridiculous reaction with the incoming soul fragments.
Within a hundred meters near Leo, wisps of chaotic spiritual energy and soul fragments flew towards him. The chaotic spiritual energy was enveloped by the soul fragments, turning it into an abyssal black color energy.
Soon, his body could no longer be recognized in the black storm. The empresses tried to perceive what was happening inside and were glad to know his current condition, which was completely fine.
"Don't tell me he's going to breakthrough!" The empresses were looking at the black storm with baffled expressions.

Inside his body, 11 dots of various colors emerged, and they began to absorb the black storm more efficiently.
These dots grew quickly and took their respective forms.
The golden dot turned into a Majestic dragon.
The cyan dot turned into an Emperor Phoenix that had nobility in its appearance.
The black dot turned into a figure shrouded in flames.
The red dot turned into a crescent crimson moon.
The green dot turned into a greenish black Ancient, ever-changing text.
The blue dot turned into a light blue stream of web that expanded and collapsed in a loop.
The purple dot turned into a piece of square that would break endlessly.
The yellow dot turned into an anvil and hammer.
The orange dot turned into a myriad color, ancient, ever-changing text.
The brown dot turned into a book with never ending pages turning back and forth.
The last white dot turned into an ethereal, motionless humanoid.
These figures formed a circle and began to surround the humanoid figure in the center of the circle.
Transparent lines spread towards the 10 figures from the humanoid figures. As soon as all of them were interconnected with each other, they immediately returned to their initial colorful forms.
A wave of the mixture of chaotic spiritual energy and soul fragments rushed to the 10 dots, that further transferred it to the center dot. Along with the wave of black energy, the respective colors of the other dots were also being transferred into the humanoid figure that lit up magnificently.
A muffled explosion could be heard from the black storm.

"He's really doing it!"
"Just what the fuck's wrong with him!?"
"Is that still something related to talent?!"
The empresses were bewildered by Leo's another breakthrough, and they couldn't stop but curse.
Their daughters on the other hand were excited for some reason.

Right after a minor realm breakthrough, Leo's body began to absorb the black energy again without a delay.

The black energy rushed towards the 10 dots, repeating the same process from earlier. But this time the 10 circular dots changed their shapes slightly to oval.
Another explosion occurred within the black storm.

The once colorful dots had long turned to wisps of lines around the center, enveloping each other.

The center of the circle swelled up and devoured the colorful lines. The lines were quickly embedded inside the sphere and its color started to change. These colors were slowly engraving non-decipherable patterns on this sphere.

A huge thundercloud appeared above Leo's body.
It was none other but the tribulation of core formation realm.
BOOM!
A pure blue thunder crashed into Leo and enveloped his body. The black storm had not dissipated at all, instead making it more potent.
When the thunder hit Leo, it was absorbed into his flesh, bones, and meridians. It was not effective at all, instead it strengthened his body more.

Two thunder strikes hit him, but they were directed towards his body's inside. They rushed towards the small swelled up colorful sphere and hit it decisively.
They were completely absorbed.

At the last thunder strike, the small colorful sphere had solidified into a golden core.

At this moment, all the soul fragments had been absorbed into the soul petals and Leo had officially reached the core formation stage.
On the other hand, the empress of time and sorcery were happy to win the bet.

Leo finally opened his eyes and found himself become stronger than before. He was delighted to find out that he had reached the Core Formation Realm too.
He tried his best to not become cocky for breaking through two major realms in a single day.
The empresses quickly resumed the journey.
