It seemed like this little girl was just sitting there in a daze, as if she was afraid to even make a single bit of sound.

But it was clear that she was still aware of what was happening around her.

Her eyes were still clear and focused to a certain extent.

We had been talking softly though, so she shouldn't have heard us.

Or at least that was what we believed.

After staring at the girl in the cage for a bit, Yukio said, "Are you sure about this? I can't see anything other than a yokai…"

Kyoko gave a snort before saying, "Do you think that I wouldn't be able to see through something like this?"

Yukio shook his head before turning back to look at the cage again.

Kyoko narrowed her eyes to look at him, as if she was judging him.
