Chi Cheng reconsidered his decision. Realising that it would be difficult to perform the purification technique without a proper, strong flow of Qi from his own meridians, he decided to risk revealing the technique by guiding Han Leixin.

'It's going to be less effective without my Celestial Essence but at the least, it will suffice with the Han clan's Ice Essence as well.'

"Forget what I said." Chi Cheng shook his head. "I'm going to direct you on how to perform a purification technique on him, but you'll need to follow my instructions carefully to avoid any damage."

Nodding hesitantly, Han Leixin kneeled beside Han Jianyu. Chi Cheng gathered the Han youngster into his arms, laying his back on his lap while he supported his head against his arm.
