บท 67: A bitterness towards the Grandmaster

Bidding farewell to Chi Weiran, Chi Cheng promised his younger brother he would visit him again the next morning. He was reluctant to depart from Chi Weiran's side as guilt plagued his heart, but he pledged to himself that his younger brother would never come to cross the paths of danger again so long as he lived.

Night had fallen quickly, and outside the infirmary Chi Cheng requested Han Yongrui to grant him a brief conversation with Huo Renyi before they departed to the Sanctuary hall.

Standing a few inches taller than Chi Cheng, Huo Renyi cocked his head to the side, staring at the older male with the usual cynical smile on his expression.

"Thank you," Chi Cheng expressed his gratitude, bowing his head. "I would not have accomplished what I did without your help."
