บท 54: Suspecting Huo Renyi

Chi Cheng seated himself on the window pane again and allowed Huo Renyi to be seated on the only chair in the room. Eyeing the Huo youngster warily, Chi Cheng folded his arms.

"I am grateful that you helped me back to my room last night." Chi Cheng thanked him. "But you have a lot of explaining to do."

"Of course." Huo Renyi raised both his hands, indicating that he was completely harmless. "I have no ill intentions other than to find answers myself. I will answer whatever questions you have first, Senior Chi Cheng."

'He's unnaturally calm,' Chi Cheng deduced. 'As far as I know, disciples from the Fire Sect usually have a raging temper due to the influence of their abilities. You can hardly have a conversation with any of them without starting a fight.'
