The sound of his phone ringing snapped Bruno out of his thoughts. Seeing Lara's name flash on the screen immediately made him smile. He quickly answered the call, anticipation in his voice.

"Bruno! Where are you?" Lara's sharp tone cut through the line, a mix of impatience and concern. "I thought you were coming back today! I was hoping we could attend the baby shower together. Have you forgotten that tomorrow is Silas's baby shower?"

Bruno's smile grew wider. How could he possibly forget? He had made sure to return just in time for the event.
