Roan couldn't help his smile when the COO hung up right after, Astor was a little too used to dealing with his antics.

"Is something wrong?" Nova asked after the call dropped, and Roan decided that he liked how she looked when she was worried about him.

"No, I'm just late to an event," He said lightly, caressing her face.

Nova's eyes widened, "Oh no! You-"

Her words were cut off by a kiss, Roan's powerful arm pulling her close.

"Get ready, we're going together," He let her know, pressing a kiss to the side of her mouth.

Roan frowned because, in the next moment, Nova was out of his arms, grabbing his shirt off the ground and putting it on even as she hurried across the expanse of his room to the door connecting both their rooms.

"How am I going to get ready in time?" She murmured to herself in a panic, forgetting to close the door connecting their rooms.
