“Still, I’m surprised that you were called to join this mission too, even though you haven’t been appointed by the creator yet. Did Queen contact you?” Ace asked.

“Not…exactly. Let’s say we happened to run into each other.”

“So that mysterious dragon summons you here, huh.” Ace smiled lightly. “Nah. It’s more accurate to say that it summoned all of us to gather. Even those two girls decided to join in on the fun.”

“You’re right.”

Joke laughed awkwardly. He truly wanted to tell him about how he first encountered them, but then decided against it. Ace would see it as a completely normal situation, surely.

“So you finally met all of us…Wait, no, you haven’t met King yet, right?”

“Ah…I’ve met him already.”

“Huh?” Ace paused.

“He traveled to Bangkok once before. He came to meet someone who happens to be an acquaintance of mine, so it’s a coincidence. We dueled a bit too.”
